We hold the sponsorship of talented athletes close to our hearts. TEX Holding’s sponsorship activities are organised by each company individually with the sponsored athletes present at company events and activities as part of the team. They share with us how they achieve such outstanding performances, spurring us on all the more!
Our company MEV Deutschland, Mannheim has supported the Havelqueen Eight, a successful women’s rowing team from Potsdam that has competed in the upper third of the national rowing league, for five years. Aside from financial support, MEV has also been committed to this sponsorship through cheering the team on at rowing competitions and in particular joint activities. The Havelqueens have been at trade fairs, company celebrations and running events.

TEX Holding companies supporting athletes
Our subsidiaries supported a number of very successful bobsleigh athletes and trainers in the last season. Head coach Rene Spies (L&B) and German bob team trainer Christoph Heyder (MEV D) won gold in all three disciplines and additionally silver in the four-man bob at the Pyeongchang Olympics.
Thorsten Margis, sponsored by L&B and part of Team Friedrich, won Olympic gold in the two-man and four-man bob. Eric Franke, another L&B athlete won silver in the four-man bob with his team, piloted by Nico Walther. Kaillie Humphries, also an L&B athlete, won bronze for Canada in the women’s bob with Phylicia George, who is supported by WWR Signaltechnik.
